I’m a Christian man from the U.K. I grew up in a non-religious household, but I’ve always held to the belief that there’s most certainly an intelligent cause for the universe. After years of studying Eastern religions, such as Sikhism and Hinduism, I began to look into the Christian faith,
I began attending a Protestant Church in my local area, but after years of studying Church history I realised there was a disconnect between my beliefs and the beliefs of the early Church. I remember the first time I entered a Catholic Church, I was overwhelmed by the presence of God and a genuine sense of peace.
From here I began to really deepen my study, looking into the Early Church Fathers, and pre-Constantine Christianity. From there I studied ‘why’ Catholics believe the things they do; whether these uniquely Catholic claims held any substance. I made the decision that Christ truly founded the Church, and came home to Rome.
This blog is not a blog designed to convince hardline atheists. It’s not here to belittle other religions, or to puff out my ego. I write to equip fellow Christians with coherent responses to frequent claims about Christianity. This is a blog for holding to the truth of the Catholic Christian faith, and for helping others to do the same.
